Meta Muse for Small Business: Can It Make Your Facebook Ads?
If you run your own Facebook ads, you have probably seen the headlines. Meta now has an AI agent for small businesses. The obvious question is whether it can…
Most "best AI ad generator" lists rank tools by feature count. That does not help much if you run your own Facebook ads and have no designer. We looked at five things that matter for that job:
Prices change often, so we left them out. Each tool lists its current plans on its own pricing page.
| Tool | Best for | What you can try before paying |
|---|---|---|
| Pencil | AI scores across many channels, including video | 6 free ads in a guided trial |
| IMGPT | Static Facebook and Instagram ads built from your own website | Brand profile free to build and edit; 14 days money back if it isn't for you |
| AdCreative.ai | Banners, photoshoots, video, creative scoring and competitor insights in one place | Free start; refunds within 7 days on monthly plans if the platform hasn't been used |
| Holo | Handing your whole marketing to an autopilot | No free trial, on purpose, per Holo |
| Predis.ai | Social posts, carousels and video alongside ads | 3-day free trial; later payments non-refundable |
| Creatify | Video ads first, static image ads as well | See its site |
| Canva | Designing each ad yourself with a Brand Kit | Free Canva Pro trial offered |
| Meta Advantage+ creative | Varying an ad you already made | Built into Ads Manager |
Best for: teams that want AI scoring and many channels in one tool.
Pencil's pricing page describes AI agents for text, images, video and ad creatives, with "Realtime AI insights and Scores". It connects to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display, DV360 and LinkedIn. Its entry plan is aimed "For solo entrepreneurs" and its top plan is "Self-serve for enterprises".
Keep in mind: it covers a lot of channels and formats. If you only run static Facebook ads, you will use a small part of it.
Best for: owners who want static Facebook and Instagram ads built from their own website.
You paste your website URL, or describe your business. IMGPT builds a brand profile with your logo, colors, typography, voice, ideal customer and products, plus any offers it finds on your site. You check and edit that profile for free before you pay anything.
Then it makes static image ads inside that profile:
Keep in mind: it makes static image ads, not video, and the workspace is built for a desktop screen.
Best for: advertisers who want banners, photoshoots, video, scoring and competitor research in one place.
AdCreative.ai says it can "Generate ad banners, texts, photoshoots, and videos", and it bundles "competitor insights and creative scoring" into the same platform. It says it supports over 4,200,000 users.
Keep in mind: its refund policy covers 7 days on monthly plans, but only if the platform hasn't been used, for example to generate creatives. Test with that in mind.
Best for: founders who want marketing done for them across channels.
You enter your website, and Holo builds what it calls your "Brand DNA". It then makes paid ads, social posts, emails and blog content, and publishes to Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok. Holo says it is "built for founders, not marketers".
Keep in mind: it is a marketing autopilot, not only an ad tool. Asked about a free trial, Holo's pricing page answers "No - and that's on purpose".
Best for: social media content plus ads, with scheduling built in.
Predis.ai makes images, carousels and videos, keeps a brand kit, and publishes and schedules to social accounts. It also includes competitor analysis.
Keep in mind: it offers a 3-day free trial, and its pricing page says "Payments after that are non-refundable".
Best for: video ads.
Creatify leads with "AI-generated video ads" and can turn a product page into a video ad. It also says it can "Turn any product into static ads".
Keep in mind: video is the center of the product. If you only run static ads, compare the static side carefully.
Best for: owners who enjoy designing each ad themselves.
Canva Pro's Brand Kit keeps your logos, colors, fonts, imagery, templates and guidelines in one place, and Canva's AI uses it to generate designs.
Keep in mind: you still decide and design each ad, which takes time every refresh.
Best for: stretching an ad that already works.
Built into Ads Manager, Advantage+ creative automatically creates variations of your ad from a single image or video. Meta lists it for campaigns that use the traffic or sales objective with a website destination.
Keep in mind: it starts from an ad you already made, so it does not give you a new concept.
For a small brand running its own Facebook ads, the deciding question is simple: do the ads look like your brand, and can you check that before you pay?
It depends on the job. For static Facebook and Instagram ads that start from your own website, IMGPT is built for exactly that. For scoring and competitor research, AdCreative.ai and Pencil lead. For video, Creatify.
Pencil offers 6 free ads, AdCreative.ai has a free start, Predis.ai a 3-day trial, and IMGPT lets you build and edit your brand profile for free, with 14 days money back if it isn't for you. Holo says it has no free trial on purpose.
Some can. IMGPT publishes to a connected Meta ad account, Holo publishes to Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, and Advantage+ creative works inside Ads Manager itself.
Founder, IMGPT
I build IMGPT. I write about ad creative, the specs that decide whether an ad runs, and what actually happens when you let a model make your ads.
If you run your own Facebook ads, you have probably seen the headlines. Meta now has an AI agent for small businesses. The obvious question is whether it can…
Both tools begin the same way: you give them your website. What happens next is very different, and that difference decides which one fits how you run your ads.
If you run your own Facebook ads and have outgrown Canva, these two names come up often. They solve the same problem from different ends. One gives you a wide…
